The nice thing about this product is that it DOES protect the ipod well. If you’re looking for an arm band case that needs to do nothing more than hold your Touch while you exercise, one from which you can easily remove the Touch after exercising, then it’s pretty good. However, there are some major drawbacks, and as a result it fails the test as a protector for everyday use:
1. The case isn’t “sleek”. By that I mean don’t expect a form-fitting shape. The fabric is tight in places and loose in others. The clear cover does not smoothly overlay the screen, and there’s actually space between the clear cover and the glass of the ipod. However, the ipod does slide in and out of the case easily.
2. As mentioned in other reviews, the clear cover works (magically), but don’t expect to type through it as the responsiveness is lessened. Sometimes you really have to tap hard to get a response.
3. The ruggedness of the attachment to the belt clip is sad. I’ve returned mine, because the very first time I attached the case to the belt clip, the post that slides into the clip ripped right off.
4. My unit came pre-scuffed. I opened the package to find a nice scuff across the center of the unit, probably caused by the case rubbing against its packaging while in transit. Reason #2 for my return.

This was a great product. You can use it to clip onto your pants if you’re doing weight workouts, or use the arm band when you’re running. It’s easy to switch between the clip & arm band.
My only issue is that the plastic covering that goes over the ipod touch screen kinda gets that plastic stickiness to the screen sometimes.

Great for the gym, the armband and clip are the perfect combo. No problem working touch screen with plastic cover.

This is my third DLO action Jacket, since I bought one for all my previous ipods. Since this is the one that was designed to give access for the whole screen and not only for the control wheel, it certainly brought a new challenge for DLO…that they solve it partially.
This case really protects the Ipod. As It was expected not as responsive as you may whish. Is hard to find the right material that let you see trough it and is still responsive. The material used is fairly good at it, but its ok compared with some other options on the market.
The weakest part of this case is the bet clip. The iPod moves all over because it’s not designed to keep it steady . Yes, as advertised you can turn it 90 degrees, but it will return to the original position as gravity stands. What happened with the belt clip used for the action Jacket used for the Nano 2g?
In short: Good and secure case, very practical for running (not for the gym if you want to lift some weights and you don’t want to feel something pressing your arms), not as “invisible” as if nothing were between your iPod and your fingertips. If your main reason to buy it is the belt clip… try something else, otherwise is a nice move.
